Doggy Daycare in Troy, AL

Not every dog does well spending a full workday alone at home. Troy Animal Clinic offers doggy daycare Monday through Friday for dogs who need supervision, activity, and company while their owners are away.

Daycare runs out of our newly renovated facility, the same space used for our boarding program. Dogs have access to indoor kennels and our outdoor play area, which includes an open yard and a covered patio with ceiling fans to keep dogs comfortable during warmer months. Our kennel staff supervises dogs throughout the day, and our veterinarians are on-site during clinic hours.

Daycare Requirements

All daycare guests must meet the following before their first visit:

Negative fecal test (annually)
Current flea and tick prevention (monthly, 3-month, or annual injection)
Spayed or neutered
Current DHLPP vaccination
Current Bordetella (kennel cough) vaccination
Current Rabies vaccination (annually)

If your dog is an existing Troy Animal Clinic patient, we can confirm vaccination status when you call. New patients should bring records or have them sent ahead of the first visit.

The Advantage of Daycare at a Veterinary Clinic

Our veterinarians are on-site during clinic hours while your dog is here. If something comes up during the day, whether a minor scrape, an upset stomach, or anything that needs a closer look, we can evaluate your dog without you having to transport them elsewhere. For dogs with health conditions, senior dogs, or dogs on daily medications, that on-site coverage is a meaningful difference from a standalone daycare facility.

Boarding and Daycare Packages

Our Sleepover packages bundle nights of boarding with days of daycare and grooming add-ons at a combined rate. Options range from a standard overnight stay with daycare to multi-night packages that include a Spa Day or Bubble Bath. Call us to discuss what fits your schedule.
